Crystal Path

Effective 18 October 2026

Privacy policy

The short version: we don't collect, receive or share any personal data. Crystal Path has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and your progress never leaves your device.

Who we are

Crystal Path (on the App Store, “Crystal Path: Light Puzzle”) is made by Algolab, Tanzania (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Crystal Path app for Android and iOS and this website. Questions go to support@algolab.africa.

What we collect

Nothing. We run no servers for the game and receive no data from it. The app contains no advertising or tracking code and no analytics of our own. We don't ask for your name, email address, location, contacts, photos or any other personal information, and we don't sell or share data with anyone. The one exception is Google Play Games Services on Android, described below, which sends data to Google, not to us.

What stays on your device

To save your game, the app keeps a small database in its private storage on your phone or tablet:

This data is never sent to us. If you have turned on your device's own backup (Android backup or iCloud Backup), it may be included in that backup, which Google or Apple handles under your account settings.

Achievements and leaderboards

Achievements and leaderboards are optional. On Android they use Google Play Games Services; on iPhone and iPad they use Apple Game Center. When you are signed in to either service, the game reports your achievement progress and three leaderboard scores (total stars, levels solved without aids, and shards found) to Google or Apple, linked to your player profile there. Your gamer name and scores may be shown to other players according to your settings in that service.

Google and Apple process this data under their own privacy policies, not ours: Google Privacy Policy and Game Center & Privacy (part of the Apple Privacy Policy). We don't receive your email address or contact details from them.

On Android, the Play Games Services library built into the app sends Google the following, encrypted in transit, so the service works: your Play Games player ID and profile (gamer name and avatar), your achievement progress and leaderboard scores, and usage and diagnostic data Google uses to keep the service stable. Google may collect the usage and diagnostic data even if you never sign in to Play Games. On iPhone and iPad, Game Center is part of iOS and the app adds no library of its own. Apart from this, the game works fully offline.

Purchases and app stores

Payment for Crystal Path, refunds and install checks are handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store; we never see your payment details.

Children

Crystal Path is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children. Parents can manage Google Play Games and Game Center for their children through Google Family Link and Apple Family Sharing / Screen Time.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored. On Android you can also go to Settings → Apps → Crystal Path → Storage → Clear storage. Achievement and leaderboard data is kept by Google or Apple; you can manage or delete it in your Google Play Games profile settings or in Game Center settings. See data deletion for details.

This website

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics. Like any website, it is delivered by a hosting provider (Cloudflare), which processes technical request data such as IP addresses to serve and protect the site.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the effective date above. If the app ever starts collecting data, we will say so here and in the store listings before it does.
